This week in K-Dramas the Prime Minister sits behind a big mahogany desk with a ‘oil painting’ (sure it isn’t) of …. GUPPIES. The show has fallen into a writing hole where they haven’t written in a softer side and ‘hidden-goodness’ into the Minister. He comes off as creepy. This had a really good premise but at episode 6, I don’t know they can right the ship, I’m distracted each episode by, “are those guppies or beta fish?”
File under – throwing more money at the problem. I am putting slightly raised planters that are around 18″ high along the fence. They are about a foot wide and will contain bamboo for screening out this bullshit. The fence bamboo you see pictured is coming down today and will be used as filler in the planters. My shop side facing this is about to get overhauled, repainted and a mural installed. The bamboo when it comes up and grows will be decorated in solar lights and silver stars. The fence itself although it has green ‘block out’ privacy slats is also getting a black fabric overlayed onto it to help also with privacy.
Update:
last night, January 16th 2025, they pulled out that RV and the derelict van beside it that they had dumped and have moved in a large red cargo container. Hmm. Common sense says they will use it for storage or something very basic, but they’re addicts so it will be some kind of fuckery.
From over the fence we heard these cries for help from kittens. We were outside working on a project and couldn’t figure out where the sound was coming from, then this kitty climbs a tree and jumps onto my sons shoulder (he’s 6’3) and then it’s litter mate does the same so now he is covered in kitties. They have stuck around. They were just bags of bones and their ribs all sticking out so they’ve been eating a lot, but I can’t keep them, they need to find a home soon. They have the most outrageous little purr motors and are so friendly. They’ve been around people their whole lives and loved because they’re absolutely comfortable with a house and being lap kitties. They’re friendlier than my own house cats. Anyway – hope I can find them a home.
