Swift nest
Crazy swifts build a nest above the living room window! They’re such sweet little birds. I’ve kept water out for the birds and my garden soil must have been useful.

Mountain bike
I road 7 miles on my bike yesterday!

I lost four pounds this week. I have been having soup for lunch and dinner.

My lilly garden is doing great and this year, we finally have butterflies. I think maybe the community action to get them to stop spraying the state park with poison has rewarded us with an abundance of bees and butterflies this year. I never see Tiger Swallows here.

I washed and detailed my mower and weed eater and washed the car.
Swash Lake

Swash heading out to the Columbia and the ocean. This was on a non-spray day but it still was a little hazy from previous. Today is a spray day, they have 2 Globemasters and a C130, a Stratotanker (that I think is doing an honest refueling job for the B-52) and a B-52 headed out and away this morning. But mostly here we have the spray thing happening. The air is always hazy and polluted.

I’ve heard a very large plane overhead but no transponder is popping up.

Trying to cheat God and play weather maker is going to end in disaster. As Kennedy reminded us – the wages of war.

Have a good week.
