I went to the gym and painted in the back room this week. It’s looking really good. The simulated wood grain trim at the top required me to go up and down the ladder a whole lot to try to prime and cover it up. It’s nasty. It finally looks pretty good though. It’s looking like a new trailer home.

Poutou

This is my cat meowing at this open door so I’ll open it a little wider for him to go inside.

Red flag weather in Oregon made for some really amazing sunsets. My neighborhood
The local bull elk

I’ve seen the big bulls like this one get poached. Back in 2011 I had been watching a big bloke and the next time I saw him it was just his head in the back of a pick up truck and some rednecks driving away real quick. They just took the head as a trophy and left the rest I guess (assholes).

I’m a really negative person anyway.

I’ve been trying to get more ‘cookies in my cookie jar’ as David Goggins said in his book that I’ve read a couple of times yet didn’t implement the advice. Typical. I need better memories to call on and to banish some of the darker stuff.

I have a lot of goals and it feels good to finally make progress. I whine less.

Anyway, had a productive week. A lot of arthritis though. I’m going to try and cut back on meat and replace it with starches I guess. Will see.
