We’ve had Rocky up a little too often lately. I saw the 3 babies on cams last night, but not at the food dish. Bigelow is very unhappy. He doesn’t share territory with anyone but can’t figure out how to muscle out the Raccoon from his food bowl. She needs to go back to living in the woods.
She really has a ferocious set of canines although somewhat sweet for a female raccoon, which have reputations as formidable fighters. She ate a snake the other day.
I’m still in the 5% challenge and have been tracking and logging all my food – except for my midnight snacks. Shame on me. I may have accidentally lost a little weight. I’m running again. It’s doing me good although I’m slow, awkward and probably hilarious to watch.
I’m not sure about art and learning Japanese. I’m kinda focused right now on cycling and running and maybe I’ll just see where that gets me.
I’ve been watching the Tour de France and it has been an awesome season.
I don’t know why they make them wear masks though at interview time. No one on the course is masked, the riders aren’t masked, the press isn’t masked — and I’m sure they have PCR testing daily, probably whatever vaccine protocol is mandatory for the Tour and / or the EU. It’s only ever done at interview time, so it feels fake. It feels like, as they said about this long ago, “theater” and I suspect that’s about right. At this point, what’s the point. Maybe just to keep that awesome panic high going, idk.
I think they’re just suggesting ridiculous stuff now and seeing how it plays out in the public consciousness. I suppose a person can put almost anything out there and it gets consumed online. Today I read that adults falling asleep while the TV is going for a nap are at risk for sudden death. Uh hu. Thankfully my Dad never took a nap during Vietnam in front of a tv, that would have been dangerous.
