Ugh, nothing good on tv and hasn’t been in years. I love Star Trek and Science Fiction and man, has Hollywood shit all over my favorites. As my favorite radio DJ likes to say, “they’ve pegged out the propaganda!” <– so true. I won’t watch the new TV or movies.
I found a channel on Youtube of a young man building a log cabin in Sweden, that was pretty interesting. Maybe its some low-key Swedish propaganda to get me to order a cabin off Ikea.
This kid is 18 — what have I been doing with my life?
I’ve been painting my kitchen again. Above are two of my cabinets, the ones above my fridge that don’t get used much.
I have also watched a lot of noodle making in Japan. They don’t talk, they just make noodles. I remind myself of my Grandma when she had dementia, she would watch hours of golf. She didn’t understand it but she looked at me and said — you know, this is good! My Grandma watched the lumberjack championships with me one year. We both really enjoyed it.
I miss my Dad and Grandma and Mom and everyone else I’ve lost — too many people really and they can’t be replaced. My Dad liked Doctor Who and Star Trek (vintage of COURSE) — we had that in common.
Well, I have the gym I guess, and I will go back to Japanese lessons soon. I had to work out a few hiccups with my health. Sometimes I hurt so much I can’t sleep or eat. Sometimes I’m so fatigued all I can do is sit in a chair (and watch noodles). So it goes slowly. I am going to make my own protein shake in an effort to recover from a gym workout, since I can’t digest my food too well.
On days I take a Vitamin B12 pill all I can do is sleep. It knocks me out – is that normal? I don’t think so…but I know I’m low on that and iron.
I made Okonomiyaki tonight for supper. Cabbage cake with BBQ sauce and mayo basically. You know, I really liked it. Nobody else really cared for it but I can see it being my regular jam. I ordered some Kewpie mayo and traditional sauce on Amazon but it hasn’t arrived yet. I don’t care for seafood so I put less Dashi flavors in.
I’ve got Reynaud’s Syndrome I guess, it’s basically poor circulation — I was washing my hands under a cold faucet and my hands turned PURPLE. Like bright pretty purple. Pretty. I hope to get more blood volume soon, lol, and a fitter heart, that should help the Reynaud’s I’m thinking.
