After 5 weeks heading down the blind alley labelled “CARNIVORE DIET” I’ve developed chest pressure / pain and shortness of breath, my fatigue is much worse, and my brain is stuff in fog so thick it can’t move. I’ve been wondering, all the diabetics I know have a problem with energy. They have a problem burning their own body fat for fuel. They have issues tapping into it you know?
Amphetamines have been “mommy’s little helper” for ages… I mean, why don’t they use them for diabetics? Help them burn through stored excessive body fat AND also just have more energy. My friend takes those 5 hour energy shots multiple times a day for instance. Could combine that with a diet intervention instead of just “fasting” all the time which is a very miserable experience.
But with the high fat diet causing my fatigue to dramatically worsen – could I get on an energy bus? A mixture of meal skipping (makes adrenaline pick up) and coffee / tea drinking and some sugar? Mix that with exercise and staying busy – would that help? Is it too late? This chest pressure and difficulty breathing is really scary. I get winded and dizzy. My legs aren’t tired, I just can’t catch my breath. It might be anemia again as I’m prone to that.
I don’t know, I really don’t have answers, but I think for me, skipping meals and having sugar and refined carbs with no fat until an evening meal might be the answer.
